Upon reflection, it becomes obvious that lights plays a vital role in the development and sustainability of life. We are born, quite biblically, from light. And when we die, candles light the way into new dimensions. 

In between these two defining moments, light is always permanent. When abundant, it stimulates creativity. When scarce, it creates intimacy. One thing is certain: light is essential.

This particular project plays with light in terms of both placement AND quantity. The bedrooms are laid out to be more scarce in light, to allow for a restful experience, while the living areas are vibrant, constantly bathed in light (be it sun, moon, or lightbulb).
