Kelly Gale Amen was honored by the Zina Garrison All Court Tennis Academy (ZGACTA) on November 11 as this year’s recipient of the Service with Love Award. KGA received the award in recognition of his continous support and contributions to ZGACTA and its activities.
Joe Gillen, President of the Academy Board of Directors, bestowed the honor to KGA during the evening gala held at The Hilton on Post Oak in Houston.
Zina Garrison, former professional tennis star and well-known Houston humanitarian, wrote this about KGA in the gala program:
“To our Service with Love award winner, Kelly Gale Amen, words are not enough to express our appreciation for all you have done to support and promote the Academy. Our kids and staff have been blessed with your culturally enlightening activities and your zest for life.”
KGA generously donates his time and designs to help Garrison’s foundation which teaches responsibility and life skills to Houston youth through positive role models and the sport of tennis.
KGA remains an active supporter and Honorary Committee member of the Academy whose Honorary Founders include H. W. and Barbra Bush and Jack S. Blanton, Sr.
