Archive: Remembering The Femail Box

KGA Design was way ahead of its game when it comes to equality –  because one does not need to learn about equality if one is raised with the right principles. Thus, when in the early 2000’s a competition for mailboxes was declared in Houston for a charitable event, our lead designer Kelly Gale Amen brought equality into the game ahead of his peers: he created the email box (get it? fe-mail?), a symbol of feminism and gender equality that was applauded at the time by the charity committee.

The box won the prize and was auctioned for the highest price, with all proceedings going to a charity that helps women suffering from gender inequality and social injustices.
