Divine Design Houston, held April 3-5, 2006 at the Hilton Americas in Houston, TX, was a benefit event featuring the top Texas designers in: Architecture, Interior, Floral, Art, Landscape and Tablescape.
Organized by Houston Alumnae of Pi Beta Phi, the event featured a cocktail party with live music, a silent auction, numerous lectures and luncheons by celebrity designers and architectural experts.
Kelly Gale Amen was among the featured designers at the Divine Deisgn Houston 2006 Showcase.
Pi Beta Phi consists of over 1,700 Houston area women volunteers including many social, civic and business leaders. Texas has a total of 15,822 Pi Beta Phi members, and Houston is one of the largest Alumnae Clubs in the nation. Internationally, the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity has an active membership of more than 180,000.
The Houston Alumnae Club founded and maintains the Pi Beta Phi Foundation to support Houston’s library and literacy programs.
